The Lady Viking lacrosse team won their season opener against Boiling Springs Monday night, 8-4. Vikings led the game with a total of 8 draw controls for the game, contributors: Morgan Thalassinos, Sophie Butehorn, Allyson Dunlavey, and Kendall Camp. Allyson Dunlavey and Patty Tidd both had no problem finding the net with 2 goals each, while Kendall Camp being the team leader with 3 goals. Olivia Summerfield had a big night in goal with 7 saves and made smart clears to her teammates. The defense executed the game plan and did a great job of getting the ball down to the offensive side. It was a team effort to get the job done. Way to go Lady Vikings!
