Boys soccer hosted the Viking Invitational this weekend and won the Championship for the second year in a row. Vikings first defeated Clinton 4-2 on Friday night with goals from Mencken Camp(2), Turner Mahaffey, and Heyward McPhail. Turner Mahaffey, Mencken Camp(2), and Heyward assisted the goals.

 The Vikings then beat Greer Saturday morning 5-0 to advance to the Championship. Goals were scored by 5 different Vikings, Aidan Pereyo got the scoring started less than a minute into the game for his first goal as a Vikings, Turner Mahaffey, Heyward McPhail, Mencken Camp, and Tavien Giles added goals. They were assisted by Turner Mahaffey, Mencken Camp(2), Will Arrington, and Thaddeus Jones. Conrad Glenn recorded the shutout for the Vikings.

 In the Championship game vs Blue Ridge the Vikings came out on top 2-1. Mencken Camp earned a PK and Heyward McPhail put it in the back of the net. Turner Mahaffey sealed the win for the Vikings with less than 10 minutes to go off an assist from Colton Pereyo to give the Vikings the Championship.
